Shomurodov opened the scoring in the 10th minute. He received a pass from Akmal Mozgovoy and scored from a narrow angle past goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi-Nzau.
Shomurodov received 36% of the votes for his goal. Haitian striker Wilson Isidor took second place for his goal against Morocco (2:4).
