The winner of the 2024/25 Dutch Cup has been determined.
QOL.az reports that "AZ Alkmaar" and "Go Ahead Eagles" faced each other in the decisive match held at the "De Kuip" stadium in Rotterdam.
The teams, which scored one goal each in 90 minutes, could not score in extra time, so the winner was determined in a penalty shootout.
"Go Ahead Eagles", playing more accurately here, became the owner of the Dutch Cup.
Thus, Detenver raised the country's cup above its head for the first time in history. Before that, the team only experienced the excitement of the final once - 60 years ago - in the 1964/65 season, but could not win.
