I have been playing football for 25 years, I have never seen such referee injustice.
Garib Ibrahimov, a futsal player of "Star Kargo", who was disqualified for 5 games by the AFFA Disciplinary Committee after the 1/4 final match of the Azerbaijan Cup against "Neftchi" IK club, said this in his statement to "Report".
The 36-year-old player said that the referees made unfair decisions in that match:
"The referees could not control the game. Anyway, the level difference between the clubs is huge. The opponent's clear superiority was visible. They only showed yellow cards to our players when we spoke. However, despite shouting at the referees, nothing was said to the opposing team. It seemed that the referees were sympathetic to the opponent. I am a person who does not accept injustice. When I see such cases, I express my protest, and that's why I get a red card everywhere. I protested to the referee that you are recording a non-existent penalty. As a result, I saw a red card, got angry and used rude expressions. I have been playing football for 25 years, I have never seen such referee injustice. They do not see the rule violations that happen in front of their eyes. I also get aggressive when I see injustice."
Q. Ibrahimov also added that he will not return to futsal:
"I will not return to futsal anymore. I am currently in "Baku Sporting", which plays in the First League. This was my last game in "Star Kargo".
It should be noted that the match "Neftchi" IK - "Star Kargo" ended with the victory of the former with a score of 7:4. G. Ibrahimov was penalized for physically assaulting the referee after receiving a direct red card in the 17th minute of the match for using insulting, unethical expressions or gestures.
