Declan Rice became the 5th player to score twice from free kicks against Real Madrid in the first leg of the 2024/2025 Champions League quarter-finals. This was reported by Global Soccer Awards, according to Sport24.az.
Previously, only Rivaldo and forwards Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Hakim Ziyech had scored a brace from free kicks in Champions League matches.
It should be noted that the return match between Real Madrid and Arsenal will be held on April 16 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid.
