Real Madrid's management has decided not to renew defender Dani Carvajal's contract, Sport24.az reports, citing Marca.
The current contract of the club's own graduate expires this summer. The 34-year-old defender will leave the Madrid club after 13 seasons in the main team. It was previously reported in the press that Getafe was interested in the defender's services.
Carvajal hardly appeared last season due to a cruciate ligament injury. In the 2025/26 "football year", he underwent knee surgery and was out for more than two months.
It should be noted that Carvajal has played 20 games in all tournaments for Real Madrid this season.
