Jonathan Tah, a footballer for the German club Bayer 04, has announced that he will leave the team at the end of the season.
Report informs that the 29-year-old defender announced this in a statement to Kicker.
He said that the management is aware of the issue:
"I have decided not to renew my contract and not to stay here. I spoke openly about it."
It should be noted that the player, who has been playing for Leverkusen since 2015, became the champion with the team in the Bundesliga last season. In the current season, he played 45 games for Bayer 04 in all tournaments, scoring 3 goals and 1 assist.
