Arsenal midfielder Bukayo Saka may be out for up to a month with a thigh injury.
Lent.az reports that the 23-year-old footballer scored in the home game against Leeds (5:0) in the 2nd round of the English Premier League, but injured his hamstring at the beginning of the second half and was substituted.
It is assumed that Saka will not be able to help the team in the away game against Liverpool on August 31. He will also miss the England national team's matches against Andorra (September 6) and Serbia (September 9) in the D-2026 qualifying round.
According to reports, the Gunners do not intend to speed up Saka's recovery, so he is expected to be out for a total of up to four weeks. It is planned that he will be ready to return to the field by Arsenal's home game against Manchester City on September 21.
It should be noted that Saka's thigh problems have been recurring for the third consecutive season. In the previous two cases, this happened in October and caused him to miss two to three weeks. In December 2024, Saka underwent surgery on the back of his thigh, as a result of which he could not appear on the field for three months.
