Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva made an inspiring appeal to the Brazilian national team participating in the 2026 World Cup.

"Our players must fight in every match and remember the Brazilian people. Our country needs a sixth World Cup title. The Brazilian national team is participating in this tournament not only for victory but also to lift the trophy.
Carlo Ancelotti, remind our players that you have rich experience and you were also a great player," the president said in a video posted on his social media page.
Brazil is in Group C and will face Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti national teams here.
