Former Liverpool head coach Rafael Benitez spoke about the Reds' winger Mohamed Salah. Sport24.az reports that the experienced specialist said that the Egyptian forward deserves the Ballon d'Or:
"Renewing Salah's contract is a priority for Liverpool because he is a world-class player. There is no question about Salah's age, as he continues to play at the highest level and contribute to the team in every match. Of course, Salah deserves to win the Ballon d'Or at the end of the season. Why not?".
It should be noted that Salah has signed a 2-year contract with the Merseyside representative.
