This was stated to "Report" by Teymur Eyvazov, the head coach of "Baku Fire", the representative of the Azerbaijan Futsal Premier League.
The specialist said that they had a successful start to the championship:
"We were able to achieve the results we wanted. We worked hard for this. We were even the first to start training among the Premier League teams. We had physical training and invited players for viewing. The main thing is that we have formed a very good team. As a result, we were able to finish the first round in first place."
He stated that the main rivals in the championship are "Neftchi" SC and "Araz-Nakhchivan":
"The main fight in the Premier League is between three teams - "Baku Fire", "Araz-Nakhchivan" and "Neftchi" SC. Both of our rivals are contenders for the championship. They have the strength for this. "Araz-Nakhchivan" has always had a lot of legionnaires. In previous championships, they have always preferred foreigners, with at least 6-7 legionnaires participating. However, we do not pay so much attention to the composition of the opponent's team. Our main job is with our team. We have focused all our attention on this."
The head coach of the club, which signed contracts with two Brazilian football players the day before, answered the question about transfer plans:
"There is currently a break in the Brazilian championship. When we agreed with them, the championship was stopped. Nevertheless, their condition is satisfactory. Paulo Henrike made a better impression in the cup match with "Araz-Nakhchivan". Henrike Suares was tired because he arrived in Baku one day before the game. The reason for his late arrival is due to a document problem. Both of them are young and will quickly adapt to the climate of our country. We have no other plans for transfers yet."
It should be noted that "Baku Fire" is currently in first place in the Premier League with 22 points after 8 rounds.
