Former "Khimki" football player Zelimkhan Bakayev reminded the club's former investor Tufan Sadygov of his salary debts.
Lent.az reports that the football player said that although he is not in contact with Tufan Sadygov, he thinks that he will read this interview:
"Therefore, I technically remind you: you gave your word, and in the Caucasus, they keep their word. We were not writing for Tufan at that time, but the whole team was sitting there - they will confirm it."
It became known on May 24 that "Khimki" did not receive a license to participate in the Russian Football League. On May 28, the Russian Football Union rejected the appeal of the Moscow club. "Khimki" took 12th place in the completed championship season.
Earlier, the media wrote that the club was bankrupt and would cease operations. It was reported that all football players and club employees were required to write applications to resign at their own request. The football players will receive free agent status, and after the club's license is rejected, they will not be able to receive their salaries because the management refused to pay the debts. Later, the club itself denied this information.
