Being appointed to the World Championship is a proud feeling.
This was stated in an interview with "Report" by Azerbaijani referee Rza Mammadov, who was appointed to the World Minifootball Championship to be held in Baku.
The referee said that he was pleased that the competition would be held in our country:
"I have been appointed to matches of the Azerbaijani Minifootball Championship for three years. This year I also refereed the final match. Being appointed to the World Championship is a proud feeling. I am proud to represent Azerbaijan in the tournament. Before the World Championship, I will also participate in an international tournament in Slovakia from April 28 to May 2. This competition is for preparation for the World Cup."
It should be noted that the World Championship, in which 32 teams will participate, will be held from May 21 to June 1 at the National Gymnastics Arena.
