Azerbaijani authors of the award received by Trump: "We didn't expect this level"

US President Donald Trump has been awarded the 2025 FIFA Peace Prize as part of the draw ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Washington. Sport24.az reports that the newly established award was presented to him by Gianni Infantino, head of the supreme football body.

The video shown in this regard noted Trump's work towards peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, along with other conflicts, and the signing of the document.

The bronze award presented to Trump is a miniature version of the famous work "Thoughts and Dreams" by Azerbaijani People's Artists Salhab Mammadov and Ali Ibadullayev.

In this regard, the Vice-Rector of the Academy of Arts, People's Artist Salhab Mammadov, told Public Television: "The presentation was very beautiful. With our culture and sketch, we confirmed that we are a peace-loving people.

We received information that there was a competition. We worked on a small version by hand and sent it. Based on it, a badge and a medal were made. We didn't expect our work to be presented at that level. This is a great happiness."

It should be noted that the bronze statue presented to Trump is a miniature version of the "Thoughts and Dreams" monument, which is considered a symbol of peace and was erected in front of the Palace of Nations in Geneva, UN, by Azerbaijani People's Artists Salhab Mammadov and Ali Ibadullayev.
