The Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under the age of 21, coached by Aykhan Abbasov, will play its first match today in the qualifying round of the European Championship. Sport24.az reports that the team will face Portugal in Group B.
The match will start at 22:30 Baku time at the "Estadio Cidade" stadium in Barcelos.
The match will be officiated by Cypriot referee Konstantinos Fellas.
It should be noted that U-21 will play its next match against the Bulgarian national team in Baku on September 9. This meeting will start at 18:00.
