There were offers from both Albania and some other countries during the winter transfer window.
This was stated by Zamiq Aliyev, a football player of the Azerbaijan national team playing for the Albanian club "Egnatia", in an interview with "Report".
The 23-year-old defender said that there was a possibility of moving to another team on loan, but it did not happen:
"We even agreed with a high-level club playing in a good championship. However, the documents did not arrive because it was the last day of the transfer. For now, I will continue my career here."
Z.Aliyev spoke about not appearing in the starting "11" lately and getting little playing time:
"Our head coach often makes tactical changes. For this reason, there are games where I can't get a chance. I respect his decision. I work harder on myself and try to strengthen my place in the team."
It should be noted that Zamiq Aliyev moved to "Egnatia" in the summer of 2024. He won the Albanian Super Cup with the team.
