Elshan Abasov, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation, met with the U-19 futsal national team, which is in training camp, at the AFFA Football Academy.
According to "Report", the Vice-President stated that he closely follows the preparation process of the national team members, who will compete in the preliminary round of the European Championship, and regularly inquires about the team's condition, and wished them success on behalf of the federation leadership.
Head coach Ilgar Aslanov provided information about the team's pre-departure situation and expressed his gratitude for the conditions created during the training camp.
It should be noted that U-19 will participate in the preliminary round of the European Championship, which will be held in San Marino from January 24 to 27. The national team, which is in Group B, will face their peers from Kosovo on January 25, and from San Marino the next day. The team that wins the group in the end will qualify for the main stage.
