Atalanta striker Mateo Retegui has equaled Filippo Inzaghi's record.
According to Report, citing foreign media, the 25-year-old achieved this in the XXXIV round of Serie A, in the match against Lecce (1:1).
This goal for the Argentinian striker, who distinguished himself in the game, was his 24th in the current season of the Italian championship. F. Inzaghi scored the same number of goals in the 1996/1997 season while playing for Atalanta.
It should be noted that M. Retegui has scored 27 goals in 45 matches in all competitions for Atalanta this season.
