Atalanta have announced the extension of midfielder Ederson's contract on their official website. The 27-year-old Brazilian, who has been with the club since the 2022/2023 season, has signed a new deal.
According to Idman.Biz, the contract is until 2030 and has an option to extend until 2031.
During his four years at Bergamo, Ederson has played 180 games in all competitions, scoring 16 goals and making six assists. In 2024, he became one of the key players of the team that won the Europa League. This year, the player was called up to the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup.
Atalanta wishes the player continued success at the club. Manchester United had previously expressed interest in Ederson, but the transfer did not materialize.
