"It will be impossible to reach "Qarabagh" in the tournament table." These words were said by Aslan Karimov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced expert shared his thoughts on the "Qarabagh" - "Neftchi" match to be held tomorrow:
"Although "Zira" has a theoretical chance to reach "Qarabagh", it does not seem very convincing. I don't believe that "Qarabagh" will draw or lose in the game with "Neftchi". Both teams are waiting for the return match of the cup semi-final. Agdam residents want to eliminate "Araz-Nakhchivan" from the fight and win a ticket to the decisive game. That's why they are preparing for that match. Even if "Neftchi" loses this match by a big score, nothing will change. "Agh-garalar" chance to participate in European Cups depends only on the cup. Their opponent is "Sabah" and this team also has a cup dream. If there was a week break between these matches, I would say that the teams will enter the game with a full squad. Since they will play in 3-4 days, they have to protect someone involuntarily. In my opinion, the match will not be held in a tense atmosphere. Both teams will think about the cup game.".
