Former Chelsea and England defender Ashley Cole has become the head coach of "Cesena", which plays in the Italian Serie B.
Idman.Biz reports that the club's press service has released information about this.
The 45-year-old specialist has left the coaching staff of the England under-21 team, where he worked as an assistant. Cole previously served as an assistant to Frank Lampard at Everton, Wayne Rooney at Birmingham, and Lee Carsley with the England national team. This will be Cole's first experience as a head coach.
It should be reminded that Ashley Cole is best known for his performances at Arsenal and Chelsea. He played 107 games for the England national team.
"Cesena" is currently eighth in the Serie B standings and is fighting for a playoff spot.
