"Liverpool" is preparing to dismiss head coach Arne Slot. Sport24.az reports that the club's management no longer intends to continue with the head coach.
The report notes that the Mersyside team's draw (3:3) away against Leeds in the 15th round of the Premier League finalized the management's decision.
It is expected that Slot will be replaced by club legend Steven Gerrard. It is reported that the 45-year-old specialist, who is currently unemployed, has a positive attitude towards coaching his former team.
It should be noted that Gerrard played for "Liverpool" from 1998-2015 and scored 120 goals in 504 matches. "Liverpool" is currently in 8th place in the Premier League with 23 points.
