Argentine forward named UEFA Champions League Player of the Week

Argentine forward Julian Alvarez of Atletico Madrid (Spain) has been named Champions League Player of the Week based on fan voting.

Report informs, citing the UEFA press service, that he scored a double in the match against Bayer 04 (Germany) in the seventh round of the League stage (2:1), making a major contribution to his team's victory.

It should be noted that Luuk de Jong (PSV) took second place in the voting, Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid) took third place, and Rafinha (Barcelona) took fourth place.
