Real Madrid, the Spanish football team fighting for the championship in the Spanish La Liga, visited Betis on the road. After the match ended in a 1-1 draw, Real Madrid's head coach Alvaro Arbeloa expressed his views on both the refereeing and the situation of the team's star, Kilian Mbappe.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to the "AS" publication that Arbeloa stated that Mbappe's condition, who wanted to be substituted in the 81st minute, was uncertain:
"I have no idea about Mbappe's condition. He had problems. We will see how everything develops in the coming days."
The head coach also harshly criticized the head referee of the match, Cesar Soto Grado. Arbeloa said that there was a foul against Ferlan Mendy before the goal scored against them in the last minutes, as well as the failure to award a penalty in the first half for the ball hitting Ricardo Rodriguez's hand:
"For me, the foul against Mendy was obvious. You don't need great strength to lose your balance in such situations. But to understand this, you need to know a little bit about football. Our problem is that those who make the decisions don't understand this. There was a clear penalty in the first half that could have decided the fate of the match."
