"Qarabag played all its matches in the UEFA Europa League at a high level." These words were said by Afran Ismayilov, the coach of "Araz-Nakhchivan", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 36-year-old expert shared his thoughts on the VII round match of the League stage held by the Agdam club in Baku against the Romanian team FCSB:
"Juninho moved to Flamengo. Despite this, they still played well, created scoring chances. The luck factor played a bit of a role. It's painful to concede a goal from a shot from three corners. But "Qarabag" shows a good game as a team, they launch good attacks."
The former football player of "Qarabag" also touched upon the previous matches of the "horsemen": "They really played at a high level against Ajax, Tottenham and others. But if they could have made maximum use of the chances they had, they might have been thinking about the next stage now. But we couldn't take advantage of the opportunities."
It should be noted that "Qarabag" lost to FCSB with a score of 2:3. Thus, the Azerbaijani champion lost its chance for the next stage.
