A meeting of the AFFA Appeals Arbitration Tribunal was held.

Two issues were discussed at the meeting and a decision was made.
Regarding the consideration of the complaint against the decision regarding the "Difai" Football Club:
1. The appeal complaint filed by the "Difai" Football Club should be partially satisfied.
2. The decisions of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee dated April 8, 2025, regarding fining the club 50 AZN for violating the requirements of the I League Regulations (Article 70.1 of the current AFFA Disciplinary Code) and 100 AZN for violating the game day plan (Article 77.1 of the same Code) in connection with the "Difai" - "Karvan" match held on April 3, 2025 within the XX round of the I League, should be cancelled.
3. The case should be returned to the Disciplinary Committee for re-examination in order to give a correct legal assessment, taking into account the circumstances of the case in accordance with the relevant articles of the AFFA Disciplinary Code applied by the Disciplinary Committee.
4. The appeal complaint should not be satisfied in the remaining part.
5. The interested parties should be informed about the possibility of appealing the decision of the Appeals Arbitration Tribunal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne (Switzerland).
Regarding the consideration of the complaint against the decision regarding Kurban Berdyev, the head coach of "Turan Tovuz" Professional Football Club:
1. The appeal complaint filed by the "Turan Tovuz" Professional Football Club should not be satisfied.
2. The decision of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee dated April 16, 2025 on penalizing the head coach with 5 matches, including 3 conditional matches, for insulting the referees after Kurban Berdyev, the head coach of the "Turan Tovuz" club, entered the field and protested the referee's decision in the 19th minute of the "Turan Tovuz" - "Sabah" match held on April 12, 2025 within the XXX round of the Misli Premier League, after receiving a direct red card, fining the club 4000 AZN and setting a probationary period of 3 months for the conditional sentence (Articles 43.4 and 32 of the current AFFA Disciplinary Code) should be upheld.
3. The interested parties should be informed about the possibility of appealing the decision of the Appeals Arbitration Tribunal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne (Switzerland).
