Honorary President of "Qarabağ" Abdolbari Gozal has passed away. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the Aghdam representative has released information about this:
"We regret to announce that Abdolbari Gozal, a philanthropist businessman, founder of "Azersun Holding," honorary president of "Qarabağ" FK, who was awarded the "Shohrat" Order, the "Taraggi" medal, and dozens of local and global awards by the head of state for his significant contributions to the development of the Azerbaijani economy, has passed away. He was the president of our club in 2001-15 and the honorary president in 2015-2025. During these years, our team became the champion of Azerbaijan 10 times and won the national cup 7 times.
May God have mercy!"
