"Qarabag"'s Albanian striker, Redon Xhixha, stated in a statement to his country's press that he was close to returning to his country during the winter "transfer window". Sport24.az reports that the forward, speaking to "Panorama", also clarified his stay at the Aghdam club:
"The news that three Albanian clubs want me is true. I cannot deny it. In winter, several teams wanted to loan me. But after long negotiations, I decided to stay at "Qarabag".
It should be noted that Redon moved from "Tirana" to "Qarabag" in January 2023.
