The 1/4 final matches of the Azerbaijan Chess Championship will be held today.
"Report" reports with reference to the Chess Federation that in the competition of male chess players, Ahmad Ahmadzade will compete with Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Eltaj Safarli with Muhammad Muradli, Nijat Abasov with Aydin Suleymanli, and Rauf Mammadov with Read Samadov.
In the women's competition, Sabina Ibrahimova - Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Khanim Balajayeva - Gulnar Mammadova, Narmin Abdinova - Turkan Mammadyarova, Gunay Mammadzade - Ayan Allahverdiyeva will play their games.
The competition will start at 15:00.
It should be noted that chess players will play two games with each other. The winner, the owner of the ticket to the semi-finals, will be determined in the tie-break.
