Azerbaijani boxer Subhan Mammadov (50 kg) finished the World Cup held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, with a bronze medal.
"Report" reports that the press service of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation has released information about this.
This was due to Mammadov's loss to local athlete Sanjar Taskenbay in the semi-finals.
It should be noted that the semi-final fights are ongoing at the World Cup, which is attended by about 300 boxers from 30 countries.
