Azerbaijani boxer Malik Hasanov has qualified for the 1/4 finals of the "Strandja" international tournament in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Sport24.az reports that the national team member earned this right by defeating Georgian Lasha Gagnidze.
Hasanov won against his opponent in the 1/8 finals with a score of 5:0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 29:28, 30:27). He will face Yertugan Zeynulinov (Kazakhstan) in the 1/4 finals.
It should be noted that Bilalhabashi Nazarov (50 kg), Zidan Hunbatov (55 kg) and Mahammadali Ashiraliyev (60 kg) have also advanced to the 1/4 finals.
