The next meeting of the Medical Department was held at the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AGF).
Idman.Biz reports that the event was attended by AGF Secretary General Parvin Piriyev, Deputy Secretary General Aydan Mammadhasanova, Rauf Aliyev, manager of the Sports Medical Research Laboratory of the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, and the federation's medical staff.
During the meeting, a number of important issues were discussed regarding the protection of athletes' health and the improvement of medical services. Among the main topics on the agenda were the organization of the vitaminization process, the protocolization of vitamin application, and the determination of work distribution in this direction.
In addition, an exchange of views took place regarding the preparation of a physiotherapy center that will operate in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, as well as its operating mechanism and working principles. The meeting also discussed the prevention of wrestlers' injuries, the organization of treatment and rehabilitation processes, the strengthening of medical control, and other current issues.
During the discussions, various proposals were voiced by the participants, activity directions for the upcoming period were determined, and relevant decisions were adopted.
AGF will continue its work towards protecting athletes' health, increasing the quality of medical services, and applying modern medical approaches.
