2 freestyle wrestlers from Azerbaijan have reached the finals of the European Championship held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
According to "Report", Osman Nurmagomedov, competing in the 92 kg weight category, advanced to the final by defeating Georgian Miriani Maisuradze in the semi-final.
Giorgi Meshvildishvili, another representative competing in the 125 kg weight category, defeated Dzianis Khramiankou (UWW) on the way to the decisive stage.
In the gold medal match, Nurmagomedov will face Dauren Kurugliev (Greece), and Meshvildishvili will face Solomon Manashvili (Georgia).
Aghanazar Novruzov, another athlete who joined the competition today, lost to Albanian Chermen Valiev in the semi-final, losing his chance to rise to the highest step of the podium. He will face Ramazan Ramazanov (Bulgaria) tomorrow in the match for third place.
