As a result of cooperation between the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation and the World Badminton Federation, the "Shuttle Time" program, which has been implemented in our country for several years within the framework of the "BWF Membership Grants" project, has been re-launched this year.
İdman.Biz reports that the "Shuttle Time" program was first implemented in 2026 at the secondary school No. 39 named after Mir Jalal Pashayev, located in Ganja.
The training, which involved more than 50 schoolchildren, was conducted by specialists appointed by the Azerbaijan Badminton Federation. During the training, schoolchildren acquired theoretical and practical knowledge of badminton.
Developed by the BWF, included among the best badminton projects in the world, a fun game-based training system develops children's physical skills (speed, agility, coordination) and increases endurance.
The main goal of the project is to achieve the mass character of badminton in our country, to arouse interest in this sport among schoolchildren and to train young badminton coaches. The program is planned to be held in various regions this year, thereby expanding the geography of badminton throughout the country.
The "Shuttle Time" program is implemented with the support of the World Badminton Federation, the European Badminton Confederation (BEC), the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education.
