Azerbaijani referees participated in the "Potential National Referees" development program organized by FIBA in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
Apasport.az reports that Salman Aliyev and Fakhraddin Mahmudov, who are assigned to the games of the Azerbaijan Basketball League, are among the participants of the event.
The referees have officiated several international games within the framework of the development program.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the development program, which will last until April 19, is to provide potential referees with international experience and to have them officiate in tournaments organized under the FIBA flag in the future.
