The finalists of the Azerbaijan Cup have been determined. Sport24.az reports that "Zira" and "Sabah", who passed the semi-final stage, have qualified for the decisive match.
"Zira" eliminated "Turan Tovuz" (2:0, 0:0), and "Sabah" eliminated "Qarabag" (2:2, 2:1). The settlement club has reached the final for the 3rd time in its history. Zira's namesake representative has been a participant in the decisive match in the 2021/22 and 2023/24 seasons.
"Sabah", on the other hand, will appear in the decisive game both in its history and for the second time in a row. Last season's winner will try to defend their title. The opponents, who will face each other on May 13, also faced the same team - "Qarabag" - in previous final games.
In general, 19 teams have participated in the final in the competition held since 1992:
