"Levski" did not try to protect the result in the first game against "Sabah".
According to "Report", this was said by the head coach of the Bulgarian team "Levski", Xulio Velasquez, at a press conference after the return match of the III qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League against "Sabah".
He said that he was happy to reach the play-off stage:
"We weren't thinking about protecting the score from the first game. I am proud of my players. We won a very good victory. "Sabah" has high-level players in its squad. They gave us difficult moments from time to time. We had only 1 player change compared to the first game. We could have looked a little relaxed in the return match. My players coped well with the given tasks."
The expert emphasized that "Levski" showed a reliable game in the return match:
"I think that our team performed reliably both in defense and in attack. We can change our game plan depending on the opponent."
