The details of why Samba Camara's transfer from the Turkish club "Sivasspor" to "Sumgayit" failed have been revealed.
Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that a plane ticket was purchased for the 32-year-old defender, and he even came to the country.
The football player, who played one game for the Mali national team, returned because he could not agree with the representative of the "city of youth" on the issue of salary.
The amount Kamara wanted was unaffordable for Sumgayit. Club officials told him they would not be able to pay him that salary.
The African player received an annual salary of 211,000 euros at Sivasspor in the 2024/2025 season.
It should be noted that Kamara did not renew his contract with the club because Sivasspor was relegated to a lower league.
