Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez said that he wants to win the 2026 World Cup for the captain of the Argentine national team, Lionel Messi.
"We will do everything for Messi to win the World Cup again. Every game is a real fight for him", - according to Lent.az, citing foreign media, Alvarez said.
In the quarterfinals of the World Cup, Argentina defeated Switzerland 3-1 in extra time and advanced to the semifinals, where they will face England. The game will be held on July 15.
