The organizing committee of the 2026 World Cup has responded to allegations by the Iranian Football Federation regarding the delay of the Iranian national team's match against Egypt in Seattle. According to Sport24.az, "The Telegraph" newspaper has released information about this.
The Organizing Committee stated that the Iranian team did not face any problems:
"Everything went according to the previously planned schedule. The Iranian delegation even arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule".
Note that the Iranian national team plans to train at the University of Washington on Thursday evening and will face Egypt in the final round of the group stage on Friday.
