Ivory Coast striker Yann Diomande was named the man of the match in the team's 1-0 win against Ecuador in the first round of the group stage of WC-2026. According to Sport24.az, the 19-year-old footballer had two shots on goal, five passes and created one dangerous opportunity.
Note that Diomande played his first World Cup match. In total, he has played 11 matches for the national team and scored 3 goals.
