Curaçao faced the Ivory Coast. The match ended with a 2:0 victory for the African representative. The Ivory Coast, which increased its point count to 6, finished the group in 2nd place. Curaçao finished last in the group with 1 point.
In the group's other match, Ecuador faced Germany. Ecuador achieved an important victory over its strong opponent: 2:1.
Having increased its point count to 4, Ecuador finished the group in 3rd place and advanced to the 1/16 final stage. Germany, on the other hand, finished the group in 1st place with 6 points.
