Canada's national team has achieved a historic victory in the 2026 World Cup.
Sport.Biz reports that the Canadian team defeated Qatar with a score of 6:0. This is the team's first victory in the history of the World Cup.
Kyle Larin, Jonathan David, and Nathan-Dylan Saliba distinguished themselves in the Canadian team. Jonathan David scored a hat-trick with three goals. Midfielder Mohammad Al-Mannai of Qatar also scored an own goal.
Qatar's team finished the match with a minority. Homam Al-Amin received a direct red card in the 33rd minute, and Assim Madibo in the 53rd minute.
Note that this is Canada's third appearance in the World Cup. The 2026 World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, and will end on July 19.
