The World Cup has seen another match in the round of 16. Sport24.az reports that the Belgian national team met with the US.
The meeting in Seattle ended with a 2:1 victory for the European representative. The first goal for Belgium was scored by Charles de Ketelaere. He scored his name on the scoreboard in the 9th minute. In the 31st minute, the Americans equalized. Malik Tillman gave his team hope in the 31st minute. Two minutes after this goal, Belgium took the lead again. Charles de Ketelaere scored a double. Hans Vanaken took the stage in the 57th minute. He was the author of his team's third goal. But this was not the last goal of the game. In the 90+3 minute, Romelu Lukaku invited the Americans to the center of the field for the 40th time.
Note that the Belgian team will face Spain, which knocked Portugal out of the competition in the quarterfinals.
