"Sumgayit" footballer Vugar Mustafayev spoke about the team's preparation. The midfielder, in an interview with Sport24.az, said that they believe they will achieve better results after the winter break:
"We were released for vacation on December 20. We started training with the full squad on January 6. I think everyone had a good rest. We are working for higher goals in 2025. I trust myself and my team. I believe we will have a good start to the championship."
It should be noted that "Sumgayit" will hold a test match with "Araz-Nakhchivan" today at the Mehdi Huseynzade Arena. The starting whistle of the match will sound at 15:00.
