FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on 6 Turkish clubs. Sport24.az reports with reference to the official website of UEFA that one of these clubs, "Hatayspor", was penalized because of the Azerbaijani national team football player Renat Dadashov.
Renat Dadashov played on loan for the Super League club last season. The news says that "Hatayspor" faced a two-season transfer ban for failing to fulfill its obligations in Renat's transfer.
The issue will be resolved if a positive response is received after the club appeals to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Turkish clubs "Adana Demirspor" (2), "Antalyaspor" (2), "Eyüpspor" (3), "Kayserispor" (3) and "Samsunspor" (2) also faced a transfer ban.
It should be noted that Renat Dadashov, who currently plays for the Turkish First League representative "Ankaragücü", scored 6 goals in 31 games for the Hatay club in the 2023/2024 season.
