Today, the 1/8 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup kicks off. Sport24.az reports that two matches will take place on the first match day.
"Shahdag Gusar", competing in the First League, will test "Turan Tovuz". Since the stadium of the Shamakhi Olympic Sports Complex, where the Gusar club holds its home games, is not suitable for hosting the 1/8 final matches of the cup, this meeting will take place at the "SOCAR Polymer Arena" in Sumgayit.
The second match of the day will take place in Zira. In the central match of this stage, the team of the same name from the settlement hosts "Neftchi".
It should be noted that the 1/8 final stage consists of one game. The VAR system will only be applied in matches where Misli Premier League participants play against each other in this stage.
