Torpedo, the rival of Zira in the 1st qualifying round of the Conference League, has attracted a new player to its squad. According to Sport24.az, Ukraine's sportarena portal reported on this.
The Georgian representative, Donetsk Shaktar's defender Luka Latsabidze, has been rented.
The 22-year-old footballer joined Shaktar from Tbilisi Dinamo in 2024. Since then, he has been regularly rented to other clubs - Chornomorets, Tbilisi Dinamo and Danish club Vayle.
Note that the first meeting between Zira and Torpedo will be held on July 9 at the Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium in Sumgayit. The return match will take place a week later, on July 16, in Kutaisi.
