The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has announced the top Asian goalscorers of 2024.
"Report" reports, citing the official IFFHS website, that Wu Lei, who plays for China's Shanghai Port, is in first place. The 33-year-old winger has scored a total of 42 goals for his team and national team.
Akram Afif (39 goals) from Qatar's Al Sadd is second.
Filipino Jarvey Gayoso, who played for Cambodia's Kaya and Phnom Penh Crown last year, and Japanese Tomoyuki Doi (both 33 goals) from Singapore's Geylang club, share 3rd-4th places.
