The Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium has been officially accepted as a member of the European Stadium and Safety Management Association (ESSMA).

This membership will be beneficial for the stadium in terms of joining international experience exchange, and rising to a higher level in security, management and other areas.
The post also noted that the stadium, which has a capacity of 31,200 spectators and hosts the home games of the Azerbaijani national football team and the "Qarabağ" football club, is the first arena in the world named after a football referee.
