The reason why the grass cover of the Tovuz city stadium is not at the desired level has been revealed.
Idman.Biz reports that an employee who monitors the grass cover of the arena, but did not want to be named, informed sport24.az about this.
According to him, the reason why the grass cover comes off in some places of the field during the game is that the root of the grass is thin, and there is a reason for this:
"You can see for yourself that in the matches with both "Shamakhi" and "Neftchi", problems occur more often in the part of the field closer to the substitute players' bench. The reason for this is that less sunlight falls on that area. This affects the hardening of the root of the grass. In other parts of the lawn, the situation is normal. But there is no fear of this. Everything will return to normal over time."
It should be noted that the artificial turf of the Tovuz city stadium was replaced with natural grass this summer. The deterioration of the grass cover was visible during the "Turan Tovuz" - "Neftchi" match.
